(ANSA) Jerusalem, May 26 - Pope Francis took time off from
talks with Middle Eastern religious leaders to meet with a group
of Christian children suffering from cancer Monday, Vatican
chief spokesman Fr. Federico Lombardi said.
The pontiff met with the small group after his visit to the
Grand Rabbinate of Israel. The meeting was organised by a local
association working with cancer patients.
