(ANSA) - Vatican City, January 29 - Pope Francis thanked the
members of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith (CDF) on
Friday for their efforts in investigating cases involving sex
abuse of minors by members of the Catholic clergy.
In an address at the group's plenary assembly, Pope Francis
said, "Christian faith, in fact, isn't just knowledge to
memorise, but truth to live in love.
Adhering to Christian faith implies both the act of reason and
the moral answer to its gift. In this regard, I thank you for
all the effort and responsibility you put forth in treating
cases of abuse of minors on the part of clergy".
