(ANSA) - Rome, April 6 - Pope Francis's diocese, the Roma
Vicariate, on Thursday voiced "deep shock" over the upcoming
availability in Lazio family clinics of the RU486 abortion pill.
"This decision sends a message that abortion is easy," it said.
Women should be admitted to hospital to take the pill, for their
own safety, the Vicariate said, denying its stance was
"ideological".
