(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 26 - Pope Francis was very tired when he
cancelled his audiences Friday morning due to a fever, Vatican
Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin told reporters
Friday.
"The Pope was tired, he had a very busy day yesterday, he saw
many people, there was the Scholas Occurrentes meeting, he
wanted to greet them all. At a certain point, your resistance
wanes," said Parolin on the sidelines of a meeting at the
Italian Embassy to the Holy See.
The pope spoke of his health in an interview with Telemundo
Thursday and said he had good and bad days with his right knee
condition.
"It's better at the moment. I can walk now. My knee was
adjusting and before I couldn't walk. Now I have walked again.
There are more painful days, but it is part of the disorder".
