(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 7 - Pope Francis is set to be admitted to
Rome's Gemelli hospital on Wednesday and stay for at least two
days, sources said.
The Argentine pontiff is being admitted to the hospital's CeMi
geriatric unit, where he had a check-up on Tuesday, and is set
to undergo surgery during the stay, the sources said.
The leader of the Catholic Church spent several days in the
hospital in March following a respiratory infection.
Francis was in St Peter's Square earlier on Wednesday for a his
weekly general audience. (ANSA).
