(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 11 - Pope Francis on Sunday met
face-to-face with new Argentine President Javier Milei for the
first since since the self-proclaimed anarcho-capitalist won
elections in the South American country last October.
The compatriots briefly met before and after a Mass to canonize
Argentina's first female saint, 18th century missionary Mama
Antula, at St Peter's Basilica.
Francis will have an official audience with Milei on Monday,
when the Argentine president will also meet Italian Premier
Giorgia Meloni and President Sergio Mattarella. (ANSA).
