(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 27 - Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal
Pietro Parolin said Tuesday that he does not think sending
Western troops to Ukraine, a hypothesis French President
Emmanuel Macron failed to rule out at a security conference in
Paris on Monday, would be a good idea.
"It would be the escalation that we have always tried to avoid
from the start," Parolin said
"I would not say it's an apocalyptic scenario, but it is a
fearful one".
