(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 3 - Pope Francis on Friday met about 100
priests from the Central Sector of the Diocese of Rome, parish
priests, deputy parish priests and some rectors, in the premises
of the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in the Italian
capital, the Vatican press office said.
The 87-year-old Argentine pontiff takes his duties as Bishop of
Rome very seriously.
Despite sometimes ill health and having often to use a
wheelchair due to a bad knee, he has frequently visited Rome
churches recently. (ANSA).
