"Happy to meet you again," said the 87-year-old Francis as he got off the helicopter, to which the 47-year-old Meloni replied: "it's a great, great pleasure to have you here. Your presence if a great gift." Getting on to a golf cart at the Borgo Egnazia resort venue for the summit, the pope let out a laugh saying "a nice laugh", to which the premier replied "we always laugh".
