(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 21 - A Filipino student told Pope Francis Thursday to stop using language that is offensive to the LGBTQIA+ community.
In closed-door Vatican meetings recently the pope has twice used the term 'frocaggine', or faggotry, to castigate gays in seminaries and the Vatican itself.
"Please stop using language offensive to the LGBT community, it hurts," said the youngster from Mindanao during a Zoom meeting organised by Loyola University.
The student was wearing a rainbow scarf. (ANSA).
