(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 18 - Pope Francis called for peace during
his Angelus prayer on Sunday, saying that "we continue to pray
so the roads of peace can open in the Middle East, Palestine,
Israel, as well as in the martyred Ukraine, in Myanmar, and in
every war zone, with commitment for dialogue and negotiations,
and abstaining from violent actions and reactions". (ANSA).
