(ANSA) - Berlin, May 12 - German Vice-Chancellor Sigmar
Gabriel said Thursday that "you can't simply close the Brenner
(Pass) and tell the Italians see what you can do". He said there
was a danger of the Mediterranean once more becoming a graveyard
and stressed that Italy "can't be left alone".
