(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 4 - The new Italian government is
committed to NATO and the EU, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani
told US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in bilateral talks on
the sidelines of the G7 foreign ministers' meeting in Munster,
western Germany, on Friday.
"The new Italian government is strongly committed to NATO, the
EU and with the United States," Tajani told his opposite number.
Blinken, for his part, said that there was a "strong partnership
(between the US and Italy) and an alliance which we are grateful
for, we speak with a single voice on many crucial issues"
starting with Ukraine and "we have the opportunity to deepen
cooperation". (ANSA).
