(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 12 - Justice Minister Carlo Nordio has
denied the extradition to Argentina of 87-year-old Argentinian
former military chaplain Franco Reverberi Boschi on charges of
crimes against humanity for his part in 'disappearing' many of
the desaparacidos who were killed by the South American
country's junta between 1976 and 1983.
Nordio says the man cannot be extradited because of "grave risks
to his health".
The minister said extradition might be an ordeal that could put
Reverberi's life at risk. (ANSA).
