Tajani says G7 working on Iran sanctions

(ANSA) - ROME, APR 17 - Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said at the Group of Seven foreign ministers' meeting on Capri Wednesday that the G7 was working on sanctions against Iran following ts attack on Israel at the weekend.
    "We will work together to try to impose sanctions on Iran. We will see if a solution can be found, and what kind of sanctions", said Tajani, who is also deputy premier.
    "Yesterday during the meeting of EU foreign ministers the EU's orientation was to give sanctions to those who gave missiles and drones that were then launched against Ukraine, against Israel or merchant ships in the Red Sea. Let's see," he added. (ANSA).
