(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 14 - In the final communiqué of the G7,
any reference to the protection of the 'gender identity and
sexual orientation' of the LGBT community, a reference that was
instead present in the final communiqué of the last G7 in
Hiroshima, has reportedly been removed, Bloomberg said Friday,
linking the alleged deletion to the first time a pope has
attended a G7 summit.
Francis is set to address an AI session on Friday as well as
having 10 bilateral meetings with world leaders.
An alleged removal of the word abortion from the final
statement, which Italy denies, was also linked to the pope's
presence at Borgo Egnazia in Puglia. (ANSA).
