Discussions for possible truce in Gaza

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 28 - Mossad chief David Barnea, CIA Director William Burns, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdel Rahman al-Thani and Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamal were holding talks in Rome on Sunday on a possible truce in the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas The discussions were reportedly set to focus on Israel's 'updated' proposal to Hamas, which was delivered to the US mediators on Saturday.
    The talks are taking place amid tension after Saturday's deadly rocket attack on the Druze-Israeli town of Majdal Shams, which were followed by Israeli attacks on numerous locations in Lebanon during the night. (ANSA).
