(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 11 - The walls of an Italian UNIFIL base
in Lebanon were knocked down by an Israeli Defence Force
bulldozer overnight Friday with IDF tanks close to the UN
interim force's position, UNIFIL said on X.
"Today several T-shaped walls in our UN position 1-31, near the
blue line in Labbouneh, fell when an IDF bulldozer hit the
perimeter and IDF tanks moved near the UN position", it said.
"Our peacekeeping forces remained in place and a UNIFIL rapid
reaction force was sent to assist and reinforce the position".
