(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 11 - Vatican sources said Thursday that
"it is possible that the pope will meet the Ukrainian president
on Saturday" when asked about reports President Zelensky may pay
a flying visit to Rome in the coming days.
The pope received Ukrainian Premier Denys Shmyhal two weeks ago
and had audience with Zelensky in February 2020, before the
Russian invasion.
The Vatican has said it is involved in a peace mission to try to
end the war in Ukraine, without disclosing details. (ANSA).
