(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 31 - Gladiator actor Russell Crowe has
hailed a new lift at the Colosseum to help disabled visitors get
up to the middle rows of the ancient combat arena.
Crowe sent his congratulations in a video to a concert by the
Orchestra del Cinema Tuesday night which played Hans Zimmer's
immortal numbers from the Oscar winning Ridley Scott 2000 film.
Inaugurating the elevator, Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano
said "accessibility to the Colosseum is our fundamental calling
