Government renews commitment to refugee protection - Tajani

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 20 - The government of Premier Giorgia Meloni renews its commitment to protect and find lasting solutions for refugees, Foreign Minister and Deputy Premier Antonio Tajani said Tuesday on the occasion of World Refugee Day.
    "On World Refugee Day, the government renews its commitment to protect and find lasting solutions for refugees, including through humanitarian corridors capable of fostering legal migration flows and countering violence and persecution," said Tajani in a tweet.
    Efforts are to focus particularly on "the Sahel and North Africa", he added. (ANSA).
