(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 28 - Democratic Party (PD) leader Elly
Schlein on Saturday launched a major attack on the government's
2024 budget bill.
"The economy is showing signs of slowing down and, instead (of
stimulating it), the government's budget is visionless,
minimalist and incapable of restoring momentum," Schlein told
the assembly of centrist party Azione.
"It is a fragile budget with overestimated growth forecasts.
"It makes us weak in the debate on the (revision of the EU)
Stability Pact". (ANSA).
