(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 15 - Istat said in its annual report on
Wednesday that there has been sharp increase in the number of
working poor in Italy over the last decade.
The national statistics agency said the incidence of people in
employment who are in absolute poverty increased from 4.
It said the rise was even sharper for blue-collar workers, going
from just under 9% in 2014 to 14.6% in 2023. (ANSA).
