(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 28 - A film about a 15-year-old high
school student who killed himself in 2012 after being bullied
will not be screened at a middle school in the northeastern city
of Treviso after local parents protested claiming it would have
a "negative" impact on their children over the sensitive issues
it depicts - homophobia and teen suicide.
The screening was originally planned for November 4 and the
institute had reserved tickets but the initiative was cancelled
after many parents asked the principal to cancel it.
