(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 13 - The Lazio town of Subiaco has been
awarded the title of Italian Book Capital 2025, Culture Minister
Alessandro Giuli told a press conference on Friday.
Subiaco, near Rome, will receive a 500,000-euro prize to be
invested in initiatives to promote reading.
The Lazio town beat the other finalists, which included
Grottaferrata, Ischia, Macchiagodena, Mistretta and Sorrento.
