Jago's latest masterwork debuts at Italy Village in Doha

(ANSA) - DOHA, DEC 21 - Three forearms are intertwined as if they were in perpetual movement in 'Family', Italian sculptor Jago's latest oeuvre, which is on display for the first time in Doha at the Italy Village, the itinerant expo that accompanies the Italian Navy's training vessel Amerigo Vespucci in its world tour.
    The symbol of union, of solidarity emerges from the stark white marble immersed in the dark of the exhibition area, represented by the three forearms that hold one another.
    They evoke the symbol of Uroboros in which each hand holds the other creating a never-ending circle.
    The masterwork urges people to connect, without distinctions or prejudices, highlighting the importance of cohesion and a sense of common heritage.
    'Family' will remain on display until December 22, when the Italy Village will close in Doha to subsequently reach the following stage of the world tour - Abu Dhabi.
    In the United Arab Emirates, the artist will also showcase another one of his oeuvres called 'Future'. (ANSA).
