(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 11 - Hera, the European Commission's
operational arm, has signed a contract with the English
pharmaceutical company Seqirus to supply 665 thousand doses of
vaccine for human use against the spread of avian influenza.
According to a note from the Commission, the vaccines are
intended for those who are most at risk of transmission,
primarily poultry farm workers and veterinarians.
