(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 2 - The Polish defence ministry confirmed that two Belarusian helicopters violated Polish airspace on August 1 in the Bialowieza area on Poland's border with Belarus. According to a statement on the ministry's website, the Polish side has been informed ahead of time that pilot training exercises will take place in the border area on the Belarusian side. According to the press release, the breach occurred at such a low altitude that Polish military detection systems had difficulty detecting the helicopters. (ANSA).
