Bosnia-Herzegovina heads to local elections on Sunday

Vote postponed in flooded areas

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 5 - Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold local elections on Sunday. More than 140 mayors and approximately 3,000 council members will be elected in the country's two entities—the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBIH) and the Republika Srpska (RS), as well as the Brcko District, local media reported. Voting in polling stations has been postponed in the flooded areas of Jablanica, Konjic, Kiseljak, and Kresevo, as well as in some areas of Fojnica.
