(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 17 LUG - "Friuli Venezia Giulia continues
to work in closer synergy with Croatia to strengthen a highly
strategic relationship for Italy and the rest of Europe. We
address numerous topics, such as the cross-border Hydrogen
Valley project, managing migration along the Balkan route, and
protecting Italian and Croatian linguistic minorities.
Regarding the hydrogen valley, which involves the two
countries and Slovenia, Fedriga described it as "a challenge
that starts from these territories, is of interest to all of
Europe, and aims to promote sustainable energy procurement and
supply source enhancement."
The governor later agreed with the Croatian minister on the
benefits of cooperation between Italy and Croatia in managing
immigration. Minister Grlić-Radman assured support from Croatia
to help Italy cope with the issue. (ANSA).
