(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 08 APR - Authorities in Pristina banned
all sports activities that are not organized by the Kosovar
Olympic Committee, sports federations and clubs registered in
the Kosovo sports system.
According to the Serbian media, a decision came after
repeated protests, particularly by the Kosovo Football
Federation (FSK), over matches organized in Kosovo by the
Serbian Football Federation (FSS).
FSK said that it has been a
full member of Uefa since May 2016, and that it is the only
institution authorized to organize soccer matches in Kosovo.
Serbia does not recognize the independence proclaimed by Kosovo
in 2008. (ANSA).
