(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 18 - "As we approach the 21st March
European Council meeting, it's crucial to remember that the
implementation of the Agreement on the Path to Normalisation of
Relations between Kosova and Serbia, along with its
Implementation Annex, is of the utmost importance for
maintaining security, stability, and peace in the Western
Balkans," Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama wrote on X today.
"Mere acknowledgement of the Agreement being legally binding is
not enough. To ensure progress, the Agreement and the
Implementation Annex must be formally included as integral parts
of Kosova and Serbia's respective EU accession processes. Any
delay in doing so only strengthens the status quo. And status
quo about this strategic key for a peaceful, prosperous and
European neighborhood in the middle of Europe doesn't serve the
security of Europe itself," Rama stated. (ANSA).
