(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 2 - Several hundred local Serbs have
gathered in the northern (Serbian) sector of Mitrovica since
this morning in front of the public offices where they work,
which were closed by the Kosovar police last Friday in an
operation to put an end to what Pristina believes are illegal
activities by parallel Serbian structures in Kosovo. The
employees request to be allowed to go to their workplaces, but
the officers keep them at a distance.
