(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 13 - Representatives of farmers from
the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, and
Lithuania have agreed to hold a joint protest on February 22,
announcing a border blockade. According to Czech television
ct24, farmers plan to protest by forming tractor convoys to
block traffic at their countries' border crossings. They oppose
imports from Ukraine, but they also oppose the Green Deal, as
well as an increase in costs that they believe will lead to the
destruction of national agriculture. (ANSA).
