(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 10 - The European Commission has
disbursed the first tranche of loans totaling 50 million euros
as part of North Macedonia's macro-financial assistance
operation. The EU's executive stated in a note that the aid
package is intended to help the Balkan country's economy, which
has been severely impacted by the recent energy crisis caused by
Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
