(ANSA) - KARPACZ, 06 SET - "Rethinking the next seven-year
period through contributions from experts, academia,
policymakers, administrators, politics, and civil society: this
is the aim of the new magazine 'Europa 2028', presented by
president of the Center for Studies 'La Parabolaì, Francesco
Tufarelli, and head of the EU Observatory at the International
Studies Center (CSI) and researcher at the London School of
Economics, Emanuele Errichiello, during the 33rd Economic Forum
in Karpacz.
After the success of 'Semestre Europeo' - the previous
semi-annual magazine of the Center for Studies 'La Parabola',
which commented on and contributed to the debate of the last two
seven-year periods - 'Europa 2028' aims to follow the same path,
re-establishing a space for reflection and debate with
'informative and proactive' purposes, and opening up to all
European citizens.
The magazine makes the diversity of its contributors -
professional, biographical, and linguistic - its strength and
aims to be a space where different approaches can engage in
dialogue, offering contributions related to public policy
evaluation, commenting on the most relevant dossiers, and
contributing to the debate on reforms.
"The goal - explain Tufarelli and Errichiello - is to
approach the Italian presidency of the Council of the European
Union in 2028 with a structured discussion and clear ideas on
how to tackle European, regional, and international challenges
in the new seven-year period (and beyond)". (ANSA).
