(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 29 - Romania is stopping the payment
of its contribution to the UN agency for Palestina, the UNRWA,
the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. The
suspension of funds will be maintained "until the investigation
is finalised," the ministry said on X. "Romania continues to
prioritise the needs of Palestinian civilians, especially those
affected by the conflict in Gaza," Bucharest stated. (ANSA).
