(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 17 - The Romanian Court of Appeal on
Friday confirmed the sentence of eight years and three months'
imprisonment for Filippo Mosca and Luca Cammalleri, the young
men from Caltanissetta in Sicily who have been imprisoned in the
Porta Alba prison in Costanza, Romania, for over a year on
charges of international drug trafficking. The same sentence was
given to an Italian young woman, whose identity is not known.
Mosca, 29, was denied house arrest in Romania at the end of
March. Police examined a package delivered to Mosca's hotel,
inside which, instead of cosmetics, they found 150 grams of
drugs. (ANSA).
