(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 06 AGO - A significant decline in illegal
immigration in Serbia and along the entire Balkan route has been
recorded in recent months. Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic
said meeting in Belgrade his Austrian counterpart, Gerhard
Karner.
The excellent collaboration between the police forces of the
two countries also contributed to this result, Dacic observed.
According to Frontex data, Dacic continued, along the Balkan
route the decline in illegal migrants was 72% in the first six
months of the year compared to the same period of 2023. (ANSA).
