Ursula von der Leyen congratulated newly elected Slovak
President Peter Pellegrini, wishing him "much success." "I look
forward to working on the important challenges that the EU and
Slovakia face together.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also congratulated
Pellegrini. "My warmest congratulations to Peter Pellegrini on
his overwhelming victory in the Slovak presidential elections. A
great victory for the Slovak people and a great victory for
peace advocates all over Europe!" wrote Orban on X.
"Congratulations, president!" he added in Slovak.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic sent a congratulatory
message in which he stressed Belgrade's interest in
strengthening bilateral cooperation with Bratislava. (ANSA).
