(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 13 - European lawmakers agreed on CO2
targets for heavy-duty vehicles, phasing out almost all new
diesel truck sales by 2040. Manufacturers must reduce the
average emissions of new trucks by 45% in 2030, 65% in 2035, and
90% in 2040. Italy voted against, along with Poland and
Slovakia. However, the Czech Republic chose to abstain. (ANSA).
