(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 15 - Peter Pellegrini was sworn in
today as Slovakia's new president, promising to reunite the
politically divided country shaken by the attempted
assassination of its prime minister a month earlier. "Politics
must not divide" Slovaks and "must not become the engine of
negative and destructive emotions," stated Pellegrini, who won
the April elections with 53% of the vote.
