(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 7 - The two Russian spies arrested in 2022 and released last week as part of a prisoner swap between the West and Russia have revealed that while in prison in Slovenia, they were visited by a member of the Russian foreign intelligence service SVR, according to Slovenian news agency STA. STA requested a comment from the Slovenian government, which declined, according to the agency.
Artyom Dulcev and Ana Dulceva, who were arrested in Slovenia in December 2022, gave an exclusive interview to Russian state television station Rossiya 1 after returning to Moscow. The spies, who lived in Slovenia under a fictitious Argentinian identity, also claimed that while in prison, Argentina wanted to take their two children away from them. Dulceva stated that she believed the Slovenian intelligence service did everything possible to keep the children in Slovenia and the family intact, STA reported. (ANSA).
