(ANSA) - GORIZIA, 24 SET - Young people and the local artistic community are the focus of an inclusion and engagement initiative, with dedicated activities starting this fall within the framework of Nova Gorica-Gorizia, European Capital of Culture.
By filling out a form on go2025. eu, participants can join various initiatives that are part of the audience outreach program, managed by the GO!Group. Activities aimed at middle school, high school, and university students, which started earlier this year, have involved over a thousand people.
From now until December, the next phase will focus on identifying areas in the city that need to be reimagined and initiating a participatory process of reclaiming space through creativity and artistic presence.
The second phase, involving the youth group's work, will consist of selecting and designing in detail the activities and initiatives identified by the youth group to improve the cultural and living quality in this cross-border city. The working group will also be able to provide feedback to the official GO!2025 team on the Capital's projects.
In the third and final phase, with an eye toward the future, the cross-border youth working group will be consolidated as a permanent entity, with support from various cross-border institutions for its formal recognition.
This will be one tool of the Legacy, the lasting impact of GO!2025: the process will begin in the final quarter of 2025.
In addition to the youth segment, the plan aims to focus on the cross-border artistic community, highlighting their skills and perspectives, always within the framework of art-based citizenship. (ANSA).
