(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 22 - "The temporary reinstatement of
border controls between Italy and Slovenia has produced an
important deterrent effect on irregular entries, and given the
excellent results, the government has yet to make any assessment
on a possible suspension of the measure introduced a year ago,"
announced Luca Ciriani, Minister for Relations with Parliament.
