Slovenian commissioner-designated Kos to be heard at AFET

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 7 - Slovenia's Commissioner-designate for Enlargement Marta Kos will be questioned by EU lawmakers on Thursday morning as hearings for European Commissioner candidates continue in the European Parliament, Slovenian news agency STA reported today. Kos, a former diplomat and presidential candidate, will appear before the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET). To pass the hearing, Kos must secure the support of coordinators from groups representing at least two-thirds, or 51, of the total 79 members. (ANSA).
