Germany is the leading producer of ice cream, Italy is third

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 19 - Italy is not Europe's leading ice cream producer or exporter. For the second year in a row, Germany produced the most ice cream (612 million litres) in Europe, followed by France (568 million litres) and Italy (527 million litres). According to Eurostat data for 2023, total production in the 27 EU countries decreased by 1.4%, from 3.3 to 3.2 billion litres. (ANSA).
