Business confidence falls more than expected in Germany

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 24 - German business confidence dropped more than expected in September. The Ifo index fell from 86. 6 to 85.4 points, below the expected 86.1 points. The assessment of the country's current situation followed the same pattern, falling from 86.4 to 84.4 points against the 86.1 expected, while business expectations (86.3 points) fell as expected, from 86.8 points in August.
