(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 15 - Claudio Barbaro, Undersecretary
for the Environment and Energy Security, attended the signing of
the contract to extend the useful life of unit 1 of the
Cernavoda nuclear power plant in Romania, as well as the
construction of two new units 3 and 4. Representatives from
Ansaldo Nucleare (Italy), Fluor and Sargent & Lundy (USA),
Atkins Realis (Canada, owner of the CANDU reactor technology),
and Nuclearelectrica (Romania) attended the signing.
