From FVG Region 20 million to Gorizia while waiting for Go!2025

(ANSA) - GORIZIA, 30 LUG - Rail transport, park-and-ride car parks, strengthening the local police force, new furnishings for the PalaBigot: there are many funds earmarked for Gorizia by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region's summer economic manoeuvre. The resources amount to about 20 million euros, with the firm awareness that GO! 2025 will have important repercussions for the whole of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
    From the point of view of culture, 200 thousand euros were earmarked for the artistic season of the Verdi Theatre and the same amount for the exhibition of the Archdiocesan Treasure.
    "We are outlining the Gorizia of the coming years, a Gorizia with ever greater appeal and, thanks to the investments for GO! 2025, with spin-offs for the entire regional territory", the mayor Rodolfo Ziberna said.
    Regional councillor Diego Bernardis, president of the Fifth Commission, illustrated the resources and contribution lines resulting from this settlement and recalled the spirit underlying the planned interventions: "For Gorizia, this is not only the recognition of GO! 2025, but also a vision that goes well beyond it," he said.
